Mission
APACCs mission is to help strengthen Asian Pacific American families living in Visitacion Valley along with the greater San Francisco area by providing linguistically and culturally appropriate programs and services. Our clients are mostly low and moderate income immigrant families with limited or no English proficiency. The goal of our programs is to ensure that our clients receive support in the form of education, resources and referrals needed to adapt and become self-sufficient. Our ultimate goal is for the community to thrive.
Programs
2 programs
For Fiscal Year 2023-2024, APACC continued our ambition to continue and grow existing programs post pandemic. APACCs translation and social services program with the Mayors Office of Housing and Development continued to see both new and returning clients access our services on a consistent basis. Our community continues to seek APACCs assistance with their CalFresh, Medi-Cal, and BMR Low-income Housing applications. In 2023-2024 APACC saw an increase with clients needing support for Unemployment benefits. APACC also continues to build out our translation and social services program to expand to the monolingual Spanish speaking community.
