Mission
Our mission is to provide the youth in our program with a comprehensive and integrated support system to help them overcome the challenges facing low- income urban children and youth: low reading levels, lack of academic achievement, high drop-out rates, violence, gangs, drugs, teen pregnancy, and food insecurity, among others.
Programs
3 programs
Ays summer arts and leadership camp. A full day camp at the ays center from monday through saturday over the summer to provide constructive educational activities while keeping our youth off the streets.
Ays meals program. We provide hot meals for approximately 25-40 ays youth every evening on monday through friday and saturday in the afternoon.
Enrichment - art and music lessons; recreation - field trips; school supplies - provide school supplies for children in need gifts - xmas and birthday presents.
