Assistance League Of Covina Valley

Operation school bell - has provided school uniforms, jackets, shoes and other clothing items to children through grade 12. A total of 1,045 children were assisted this year.

Assault survivor kits - kits are provided to local hospital emergency rooms and crisis centers. They contain clothing and personal hygiene items for survivors of rape or assault. A total of 92 kits this year.

Community services - the chapter provides good quality used clothing, new personal care items, and holiday food baskets to men, women and children who are in need or crisis. These clients are referred by contracted social service agencies that serve the local communty. In addition, bears are distributed to those in need through the local police and fire stations as well as hospitals. The chapter served 5,799 individuals this year.
