Assistance league of eugene is a nonprofit volunteer organization dedicated to providing programs which enhance the quality of life in our community.

Programs

Family food pantry - provides supplemental food supplies to families of children at seven school sites in the eugene, bethel, and springfield school districts: four elementary schools, two mckinney-vento programs, and the chifin center for native youth. It also provides supplemental food to families of children attending the pearl buck preschool, two preschool promise classrooms, and one head start classroom.

Welcome basket - provides cleaning supplies, personal care products and other essential household items for families and children in conjunction with st vincent de paul, bags of love, the nel, early childhood cares, and other organizations. Oregon heritage - gives presentations to local students at the lane county history museum on the oregon trail and the settlement of the willamette valley including native american perspectives. Operation hug-a-bear - provides stuffed bears for city of eugene police officers to give to children and others who need comfort due to stressful situations.
