A non-profit organization of volunteers dedicated to transforming the lives of children and adults in Montgomery County through community programs.
Programs

Scholarship provides scholarships for various types of continuing education. Recipients include high school graduates attending a Texas public college or university, adults needing to return to education to better their quality of life, adults and high school students needing certification courses to obtain employment and mentally, physically or emotionally challenged individuals for therapeutic programs. This year awarded scholarships helped 1,969 students.
Community Partner Outreach provides for basic needs of the homeless, residents in need and others in transition in Montgomery County. This program provides thrift shop vouchers and "Welcome Home" baskets to individuals and families referred by several community service agencies. Healthy snacks are given to schools for at-risk children. Supplies are furnished to various agencies to help with their assistance to individual in need. Holiday celebrations are provided for local residents with disabilities. During the year, 82,797 people have been helped.
Fans for Friends provides new box fans to seniors and individuals who are in need and who suffer from the extreme heat in Montgomery County. Blankets are provided to seniors and others in need during cold weather. Fans and/or blankets were provided to 6,138 people this year.
Assault Survivor Kits? distributes kits of clothing, toiletries, and comfort items through local agencies to assist assault and trauma victims. The kits are delivered to participating hospitals and distributed to patients whose clothing has been soiled and who undergo physical examinations and must release their clothing to the authorities as evidence. Coverlets are purchased and given for comfort. This year 2,322 clients were served.
Pass It On distributes unsold, unused, or excess items from the thrift shop to various community 501(c)(3) social service agencies for use by their clients. This year 6,214 Montgomery County residents were helped
Tender Loving Care Dolls provides handmade dolls and bears to social workers and school counselors who work with abused or traumatized children and to senior organizations who help adults with Alzheimer?s disease and dementia. These comfort items were distributed to 482 individuals this year.
