Reshare program donates overstock items to other nonprofit organizations in san joaquin county, such as, the gospel center rescue mission and salvation army. The total value of items donated is $44,727.
Comfort kits for kids in fostercare is a program working in partnership with the child abuse prevention council (capc) of san joaquin county. Any child in fostercare may receive a comfort kit. The kits contain age and gender appropriate items to help while in fostercare. During 2024-2025, 216 children, ranging in age from 4 to 17, received filled backpacks. Capc moms and kids program provides families with clothes and household goods from the thrift shop. Case managers from various programs within the child abuse prevention council specify each need. During 2024-2025, 149 children, including 58 moms, received items valued at $5,757. Moms also received a walmart gift card donated by st. Joseph's spirit club booster fund valued at $40 or $50.
