Assistance league of tulsa is dedicated to clothing students in need and meeting the essential needs of the most vulnerable in our community.

Assistance league of tulsa, inc. Received funds from the emma r. Showman trust to endow the betty bradstreet assistance fund in 2002. The endowment committee has determined that the interest and dividends generated from the principal would be awarded each year to local school districts and organizations in support of the arts. Awards totaling $70,831 were given to 59 area teachers from 13 school districts impacting 17,739 students to enrich fine arts in our schools.
Members supported literacy programs by providing books to gaining ground and its book van and crime prevention network's book nooks. Assistance league of tulsa was a sponsor of the martin luther king, jr parade and provided gloves to parade attendees. The organization provided care baskets to the tulsa day center.
The assistance league of tulsa continued its partnership with tulsa regional stem alliance. The chapter provided funding for 13,246 stem-in-a bag kits which were assembled by the chapter's volunteers and distributed to 33 tulsa area schools serving 6,325 students.
Adult programs maintains a partnership with life senior services. Programs and activities are coordinated to enhance the lives of their clients by providing holiday gifts, tote bags filled with household items for underserved senior citizens and two picnic tables for use at a senior facility.
Assistance league of tulsa partners with mental health association of oklahoma through its adult programs and assisted the agency with clothing, household essentials and facility wish lists.
