The purpose of a.g.c. Is to establish and maintain high professional standards amoung contractors and in the construction industry; to encourage sound business methods; to improve the standing of contractors in the business community; to encourage efficiency among contractors; to promote better relations between private owners, public bodies, professional consultants and contractors; to protect the public interest; and to make membership in the associated general contractors of america a reasonable assurance to the public of the skill, integrity and responsibility of its members. Membership in the nevada chapter, associated general contractors, inc consists of general contractors, subcontractors, supplies of construction material and services and construction professionals.
