Leadership from aeee served as delegates from the states of new york and new jersey on the board of directors for the council for opportunity in education to ensure that the needs and concerns from their perspective regions were heard. Along with coe, aeee participates in an annual educational event in washington dc where they meet with congressional representatives to inform them of the impact of the trio programs in new york and new jersey represented by aeee.

Aeee is a team of volunteer professionals from across new york and new jersey tasked with supporting the education needs of trio professionals from the same region. Doing this requires aeee to function as a 501(c)(3) and maintain communication tools for its team.
