Apic's mission is to create a safer world through prevention of infection. Apic's purpose is to influence, support, and improve the quality of health care through the practice and management of infection control and epidemiology.

Membership dues and fees: professional practice and programs are activities that advance the field of infection prevention health care facilities and other organizations that have an interest in infection prevention. These activities are funded through apic membership dues and serve all apic members.
