Mission
Founded in 1980 by pianist tilsia brens, the association of dominican classical artists, inc. Adca's mission is to promote and foster appreciation for classical music, it's composers, and interpreters from the dominican republic and latin america, through performing art and folklore. Adca brings live performances of classical, folkloric and traditional latin american music to it immediate community and new york city as a whole.

During the fiscal year, adca presented a series of in-person performances at multiple locations. The concert schedule is summarized below: the first concert took place at aaron davis hall on october 3rd, 2024. We named this concert dominican roots: a musical journey. The second concert took place at aaron davis hall on december 19th, 2024. We named this concert from paris to mexico: the musical bond of debussy & grever. We presented a third concert named symphonic. This concert took place at aaron davis hall on february 27, 2025. The last concert of the fiscal year took place at aaron davis hall on may 15th, 2025. We named this concert world premieres of latin composers. These performances reflect adcas continued commitment to presenting culturally significant and diverse musical programming throughout the fiscal year.
