To ensure the health and well-being of all children, we lead the advancement of pediatric medical education, the development of a sustainable and diverse workforce, the cultivation of an inclusive learning environment, and promotion of educational innovation.

The association provides membership services for annual and regional meetings, newsletter, and membership directory. The association provides convenient electronic services to its members such as list serves, website access, annual surveys, online registrations and dues renewal, electronic balloting, and notifications of upcoming events and opportunities, and meeting materials.

Longitudinal education assessment research network (learn) was created to promote the development of educational assessment methods to be used by pediatric residency programs for the purpose of improving measurement of learner outcomes and providing performance data for program improvement.

Lesson: longitudinal educational software solutions and outcomes network is a program created to assist members in creating robust online curricula for pediatrics. The mission of appd lesson is to produce meaningful educational materials that advance the training of future pediatricians for the purpose of improving the health and well-being of children. Our vision is to advance exemplary pediatric education through the assistance of educational technology, outcome-based curriculum development, and learner assessment.

Lead was created to provide outstanding training for educators aspiring to develop the knowledge and skills needed to become leaders in medical education.

Leapes is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and networking for pediatric graduate medical education specialists who wish to gain expertise needed to successfully guide the success of graduate medical education programs and advance their gme careers.

The fuel (fostering uim education leadership) faculty mentoring program aims to increase diversity in pediatric medical education leadership through professional development and mentorship of underrepresented in medicine early career faculty. Participants will be exposed to the many careers in pediatric medical education, as well as the professional development opportunities and educational leaders within the appd community. The program is based on mentorship, sponsorship and representation with a focus on experiential learning.
