To address critical issues affecting allied health education and to support and improve the quality of education in the allied health field. Allied health education issues include health care policy, workforce need, personnel preparation and utilization, and accreditation.

Membership: the association serves more than 120 universities and employers focusing on critical issues affecting health professions education. Members benefit from networking opportunities with leaders in health professions education and practice. Members participate in advanced professional development activities with prominent speakers in the field of allied health education. Members can be involed with timely research and other projects having an impact on allied health education, research and service delivery. Membership services include providing a membership directory, subscriptions to trends and the journal of allied health, and special reports on topics of interest to members related to the field of allied health education. Membership provides opportunities for leadership and professional development. Members and the generall public can access information online at the organization's website: www.asahp.org.
