Programs
3 programs
Organizational & Educational Models and Practices - The project seeks to engage ATS member schools in assessing current and developing educational modals and practices of theological education, identifying the most promising aspects of these models for the education and formation of theological leaders, and establishing the normative acceptance of these models in the work of the Association and its related ATS Commission on Accrediting. The project is funded solely by a foundation grant.
Pathways for Tomorrow Coordination: This project seeks to coordinate the learning among the more than 100 member schools that received a grant from a national foundation to consider the pathways for the future of their missions and those they serve. This project was fully grant funded.
The Association provided other programming for issues and initiatives that impact theological education, research on institutional viability within its schools, and promoting engaging research on relevant topics for the industry. The Association performs data collect and analysis for North American theological education. The Association engages and communicated to the membership and broader public about all that it is learning. The Association provides services to the Commission on Accrediting of the Association of Theological Schools.
