Astoria Film Festival advances media literacy, artistic expression, and career access for youth through workshops, curricula in NYC schools, an annual festival, and public events showcasing diverse voices and talent. We offer media workforce development programs equipping underrepresented youth with technical skills, mentorship, and job training to pursue careers in film and media. Our mission is to empower young creators to share their stories and pursue careers in these industries.
