For the annual crab festival, the chamber organizes and advertises the local event and provides boothes for food, beverage, and craft vendors. The event generally covers 3 days and draws thousands of tourists to the astoria area.
The great columbia crossing is an annual event that encourages participants to run or walk the megler bridge that spans the columbia river from astoria into washington.
