The organization is dedicated to meeting the health care needs of the entire community regardless of their economic status and extent of the individual's medical, mental health or disability condition. On april 3, 2012, the office of mental health (omh) approved prior approval application (ezpar) #275 with an effective date of april 1, 2012. Omh approved the closure of astrocare clinics operated in the bronx and kings counties of new york and the transfer of the sponsorship of all programs, clinics and satellite offices to welllife network, inc., a related 501(c)(3) organization. It is expected the remaining accounts will be wound down at some point in the future and the organization will be dissolved at that time.
