Athletic Booster Club Of Manchester

Organization's exempt purpose: the athletic boosters club of manchester exists to raise funds for the supplemental support of the athletic programs at the manchester community schools. The support includes purchasing equipment and improvements to the athletic facilities, all of which are donated to the school district. Funds are also provided as needed and available to the school's transportation department to supplement the costs of bus services for athletic events. The boosters club also has a college scholarship program for athletes whose parents are active members in the organization. Scholarship policy: college scholarships are awarded to district athlete applicants based upon criteria agreed upon by the organization and outlined in the bylaws. Applicants are recommended by teachers and/or coaches. From this list of nominees, recipients are voted upon by the board of directors.
