The athmar park neighborhood association's (apna) mission is to build a safe, healthy, and vibrant neighborhood by providing forums for communication and cooperation, organizing for positive cahnge, promoting involvement of all residents, working with city officials to advocate for for community needs, addressing safety concerns, organizing community events, and more. Apna cultivates the neighborhood's unique character, listens to and advocates for residents, and operates openly and fairly.
