REMEDY PET CARE - Atlanta Humane operates Remedy, a nonprofit veterinary practice designed to increase access to affordable, high-quality care for pets and the people who love them. With locations thoughtfully chosen in former veterinary deserts, Remedy provides essential services including preventative care, spay/neuter surgeries, dental procedures, and heartworm treatment. Every service is delivered with transparent pricing and a commitment to keeping pets healthy and at home. In 2024 alone, Remedy served over 10,040 pets and their families, helping reduce barriers to care and improving animal health in the communities we serve.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT - In 2024, Atlanta Humane served as a vital resource for community members seeking support, guidance, and care for the pets in their lives. Through our Resource Center, we connected with 25,513 community members, helping them access our free pet food programs and diverting shelter surrenders to our Pets in Crisis Program so families can stay together. These connections also enable us to understand our community's changing needs, and we utilize that data to prioritize our mission work. As a trusted voice in animal welfare, we continued to show up for our community in person through workshops and events as well as through mass media channels like our annual telethon-ensuring pet owners across Georgia have easy access to the resources and support they need.
