To deliver and steward permanently affordable housing to support inclusive, equitable communities near the atlanta beltline and other targeted areas in the city of atlanta.

The atlanta land trust strives to be a community-centered 'trustedpartner' with a proven model and capacity to partner withcommunities. We worked to expand awareness and understanding ofalt and the community land trust model so that alt will berecognized as the go-to organization for permanently affordablehousing in atlanta. In 2024 alt hosted 11 monthly communityinformation sessions and attended over 100 community meetings.through these activities we have been able to grow our pipeline of homebuyers to over 400 people. Alt also held post-purchase educational programming for homeowners, including an estate planning workshop, and hosted two continuing education classes for real estate agents.
The atlanta land trust works to create a favorable environment forclt development by advocating for supportive long-term affordablehousing policy and funding. Alt worked to draft legislation to beintroduced at the state level providing nonprofit organizationsproperty tax exemptions.
