With 227 employees, the aultman systems and technology department provides the technical infrastructure for business and clinical systems throughout ahf, its satellite facilities and subsidiaries. The systems and technology team handles everything related to information technology at aultman health foundation - including hardware, software data security and internal customer support.
The 59-member aultman health foundation human resources department provides support services relative to employee benefits, compensation, education and development, employee recruiting, all onboarding services, hris functions, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, and employee events across ahf facilities.
2024 was another year of growth and accomplishments for aultman services across the system. Aultman orrville hospital earned a 2024 performance leadership award for excellence in quality from the chartis center for rural health. In january 2024, aultman hospital brought the first ge omni legend pet/ct system to northeast ohio. With this new state-of-the-art technology, patients have access to high-resolution pet/ct images, faster scan times, improved operational efficiency and increased diagnostic power. The system offers deep learning digital image processing software, delivering twice the sensitivity of previous scanners and empowering providers with the clinical information they need across multiple specialties.in march, aultman woodlawn received approval to increase the number of patient beds for inpatient rehabilitation expanding to 60 beds. This expansion allowed us to provide short-term rehabilitation to additional patients. And with the compassionate care center and home healthcare (aultman health care in your home) also available on campus, aultman woodlawn is able to provide much needed care and support to even more of our families, friends and neighbors. Aultman received $6.8 million in grants from the state of ohio in late march to expand school-based health centers. Aultman partnered with brown local schools, claymont city schools and tuscarawas valley local schools to vastly expand their existing school-based health centers. The funding is being used to build new health centers to provide more comprehensive healthcare services in all three school districts. Aultman health foundation officially became aultman health system in june. For many years, aultman has expanded into a trusted regional health system with an ever-growing footprint and an extensive offering of locations and services. We received approval from the state of ohio to conduct business under the name of aultman health system, a new name that more accurately reflects our role in the communities we serve.
