Mission

1. To uphold and defend from any attack the right of the ordinary citizen to keep and bear arms as guaranteed by the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America and the constitution and laws of the State of Illinois. 2. To encourage promote and further all the various forms of shooting sports. 3. To aid in the conservation propagation and restoration of all forms of wildlife and natural resources. 4. To promote and further the education and training of all persons in the safe pursuit of the shooting and hunting sports. 5. To promote and further all legal forms of hunting fishing and trapping; and to work for the enactment of more equitable laws relating to those sports. 6. To promote and encourage better sportsmanship in shooting hunting fishing and general outdoor activity in cooperation with all duly constituted authorities in the enforcement of Wildlife Code.
