Austin street real estate (asre) is operated exclusively to carry out the purposes of austin street center (formerly known as shelter ministries of dallas), for charitable, religious, and educational purposes to shelter the homeless and provide compassionate counseling through a ministry of caring and enable responsible choice and life changes. Asre also helps to carry out the operation of austin street center, a therapeutic community that provides emergency shelter, food, showers, clothing, medications, counseling, and job training programs to those in need.
