Mission

Autism Empowerment is devoted to enriching and empowering the lives of youth adults and families within autistic and neurodivergent communities. We promote a culture of Autism Acceptance and believe that each one of us has gifts strengths and talents to make the world a better place. Wherever a person identifies in their life journey Autism Empowerment is here to meet them along the way with acceptance enrichment inspiration and empowerment for the road ahead.

Community Enrichment: This program encompasses community education enrichment and advocacy efforts such as the Autism Empowerment Podcast AutismEmpowermentPodcast.org support groups advocacy and coalition work community events trainings collaborations exhibitions consulting video productions and community support through email and online groups. These services are provided in Southwest Washington the Portland Oregon metro area and beyond.

Expenses: $245K

Autism Services: This volunteer program prioritizes providing service and emotional support to individuals and families within the autistic autism and neurodivergent communities. Through Autism Empowerment Cares volunteer projects participants engage in valuable opportunities to promote autism acceptance enrichment inspiration and empowerment. A new youth-focused volunteer initiative Autism Serves: Helping Hands is scheduled to launch in early 2025.
