The mission of Axis Community Health is to provide quality, affordable, accessible, and compassionate health care services that promote the well being of all members of the community.

Integrated behavioral health: axis community health mental health services provide group and individual counseling and education assistance. Axis provided over 19,000 group and individual counseling visits for mental health issues that include coping with depression, promoting a healthy lifestyle, rebuilding family communication and cohesiveness, parenting education and strategies, anger management and crisis resolution, and domestic violence control strategies.

Expenses: $3.3M

Women, infant, children (wic: the women, infants and children supplemental nutrition program (wic)) helps eligible families improve their health status through better nutrition, supplemental food and referrals to health care services. The wic program provided over 8,400 eligible families in the tri-valley area with: food vouchers nutrition counseling and education by a registered dietitian breast feeding and infant nutrition classes and support electric breast pump loan program referrals to health and community services farmers market coupons (may-september).
