Mission
Mount of angels provides free, high-quality arts programming to youth across (cont. Sch. O) (continued) los angeles, with a focus on underserved communities. Our core services include year-round artist mentorship, public art experiences, and creative career development through merchandise and exhibitions. We aim to build confidence, expand opportunity, and cultivate the next generation of young artists.
Programs
2 programs
Community art experiences program: to increase access to the arts, mount of angels hosted large-scale, interactive art events in public spaces, including the beverly hills art show and multiple local festivals. Our signature giant painting wall allowed hundreds of children and families to engage in free, collaborative art-making. These activities promote creative expression, emotional healing, and community pride, especially among youth affected by economic hardship or trauma. All materials and staffing were provided at no cost to participants.
Creative career development & merchandise program: mount of angels equips youth with real-world creative industry experience by guiding them in designing original merchandise including apparel, accessories, and printed goods. Youth artists collaborate with professional mentors and interns to develop products that are sold online and at events. Proceeds support our free programs. This initiative teaches design, marketing, entrepreneurship, and teamwork, while building self-esteem and professional portfolios.
