Mission

To provide weekend food to public school children in need. The mission of Backpack Buddies Seabrook Island (BPBSI) is to provide a bag of nutritious food to children for weekends and school holidays. The children receiving the food are identified as being in need by school and county officials as being food insecure on weekends and school holidays. BPBSI is an all volunteer organization that has no employees not pays compensation not benefits. BPBSI raises funds and then the all volunteer network purchases packs individual bags and delivers to the school for distribution.
