Bag Its 5-day leadership conference, Escape to THRIVE, held its 13th event in January 2025, hosting 35 advocates from 20 states, Canada, Puerto Rico, and Colombia. Participants represented diverse backgrounds and 15 cancer types, with 89% survivors and 15% LGBTQ advocates. Sessions addressed advancing advocacy, intersectionality, DEI+B in cancer care, burnout recovery, and end-of-life legacy. 97% rated the conference highly valuable, and over 200 organizations have participated since the programs launch in 2011.
