The baldwin county education coalitions mission is to invest in public education by bridging gaps, supporting educators, and promoting student success through community engagement, advocacy, and strategic partnerships.

Programs

Provide a united voice and build awareness for local and statewide educational initiatives. Serve as a member of the alabama association of nonprofits and every child alabama coalition informing, advocating, and providing a unified voice on federal, state, and local policy issues related to education and nonprofits. Serve as a member of the alabama stem council and alabama stem foundation supporting stem initiatives including: uteach alabama, alabama stem officers, stem teacher externships, and stem ecosystems and growing stem career pathways across the state, inform, engage and connect the community to our public schools to strengthen awareness and support for the district and the coalition. Host informational forums. Facilitate community advisory groups. Engage business and industry through fundraising events to increase the level of funding for academic best practices impacting student achievement.

Elevate recognize excellence and provide professional development opportunities to increase capacity of our partners. Lead annual standards for excellence in nonprofit board governance training for all baldwin county nonprofits. Host annual teacher of the year banquet to recognize each schools oustanding educator. Sponsor the employee of the month programto recognize outstanding employees of the district.
