The Trust continues to develop and present environmental education programs to thousands of students and lifelong learners. Since its founding, the trust has reached over 100,000 program participants. The Trusts partnership with AmeriCorps and the Conservation Trust of North Carolina continued program presentations to schools to 10 Title 1 schools in Jackson and Haywood Counties, as well as delivered 12 library programs in the region.

The Trusts Nature Center continues to be well received by the public, while housing our collection of ambassador animal used in outreach programming. In 2024, we hosted several school groups, invasive species identification workshops, and supported undergraduate researchers and classes for Western Caroling University and UNC-Asheville. At the end of the year renovations of our primary bird enclosure began and we started development on a new landscaping site plan.
