Baltic fire engine company number 1 was formed as a nonprofit organization to provide emergency services and protection to the citizens and visitors of the villages of baltic, hanover, and versailles, which make up the town of sprague, connecticut, and any neighboring communities which request aid as a result of natural or manmade disasters, said services be rendered, on requested, on a local, state or federal laws.
