Bangor Land Trust

Outreach and relationship building with key landowners around penjajawoc marsh with the goals of promoting the vital ecological importance of beavers, reducing their persecution, and increasing water levels in the marsh to improve habitat for nesting and migranting birds; held a panel discussion for the general public about beavers and their importance for wildlife habitat.

Held numerous field trips on bangor land trust properties for the general public as well as indoor programs at our office on a variety of nature- based topics; staffed a table at the maine science festival where we handed out maps; published two newsletters for our members; maintained an active presence on social media and on the bangor land trust website.
