The agency administers various governmental programs for the low income and elderly population in a three-county region in the northwestern upper peninsula of michigan.

Weatherization and energy related programs - weatherization of homes, client and energy education. Served 63 households.
Various assistance provided to low-income individuals and families including one time emergency for households, assistance with tax preparation, and fuel assistance.
Aging services - homemaker aid, home care, respite care, and home injury services. Served 145 clients. Transportation program - door-to-door and routed bus service. 4,672 rides were provided. Consignment shop operations - 132 crafters on display. Treasury and state programs - provides services to make homes eligible for weatherization, funding to ensure the affordability of water and plumbing provided by community water systems, and funding for diapers and supplies to households that meet set qualifications.
