Mission

Our mission is to promote the health, healing and hope of our community. See schedule o. This is done through support of our care teams at both barnes-jewish st. Peters hospital and progress west hospital and in partnership with community organizations to improve the overall health of st. Charles county and surrounding communities. Providing preventative health screenings and education for our community, healing therapies to our patients within the hospitals and providing support for continued care beyond our hospital walls.

General operations - the barnes-jewish st. Peters and progress west foundation supported our hospital teams by providing uniforms for patient care technicians as they graduate from their cohorts and begin their careers in our hospitals; water fountain upgrades to inpatient units to satisfy team and family bottle filling needs; various staff and provider recognition that included coffee celebrations, lunches and awards throughout the year; music therapy speakers specifically for staff use; bereavement and trauma support during stressful situations.

Peters and progress west foundation supported the local community through the funding of educational engagements, speaker series, heart health screenings, cancer screenings, healthy living and eating classes, etc. Through the foundations support, these opportunities are kept free to the public and promote health, healing and hope for our community.
