Barron County Junior Livestock Show & Sale Committee

The barron county junior livestock show & sale committee held an educational training to review the meat quality of animals sold at the barron county junior livestock auction. Professors of animal science present the program to explain quality and yield grades of meat animals evaluated at the fair.

The barron county junior livestock show & sale committee provided annual training in the youth for the quality care of animals at two separate training courses in march. 100 youth were certified in this event. Youth learned how to provide proper nutrition, care and welfare for the animals they are raising for the food chain.
