Pastor Training: Week-long conferences are held in six African countries to train young men and women in Christian leadership, disciple making and evangelism. These trainees are given the tools to become effective church leaders within their own country. Barry Wood Ministries focuses on training African pastors in Bible study and sermon preparation. In 2024, hundreds of pastors and other leaders received new study Bibles and extensive training.

Overseas Outreach Projects: These projects include helping finance construction of new churches and providing funds for projects such as water wells or rainwater retention systems, and providing food for displaced people scattered in refugee type camps. Barry Wood Ministries uses it's facilities to equip hundreds more pastors to reach their own people for Christ. One strategically placed country office in Nairobi, staffed by trained African nationals assists in overseeing and disbursing funds for ongoing projects. Barry Wood Ministries also sponsors medical evangelist teams to serve as needed.
