Leadership alliance brings together community leaders to ensure alignment with the city of st. Pete's pillars of progress. This initiative succeeding the grow smarter initiative implemented in 2015 that partnership between the chamber and local leaders led to the st. Petersburg economic development council's (edc) creation, the innovation district's formation and the st. Pete greenhouse's development.
Hire the st. Pete way is a robust community initiative. Hire (hiring, interning, reskilling, empowering.) - the st. Pete way identifies gaps and barriers that may be hindering businesses and individuals from reaching their full potential. In 2024 the initiative began a comprehensive asset mapping study to identify key institutions, programs, and services engaged in workforce development to create a cohesive and actionable roadmap for our city's growth.
