The BAWSI Rollers program provides fun, adaptive physical activities for girls and boys with physical, cognitive and hearing disabilities. Through a fun and active curriculum that includes games like basketball, soccer, and sharks and minnows The BAWSI Rollers program helps participants develop hand-eye coordination, strength, confidence, and a sense of independence. Weekly sessions include activities focused on goal setting, teamwork, and healthy competition, as well as spirited conversations about self-respect, responsibility, and leadership.Total Enrollment - 178

BAWSI Middle and High SchoolMiddle school focuses on sports participation, leadership, college exposure, and career opportunities. BAWSI Middle School encourages sport participation for both school-based sports and additional after-school sports clinics led by BAWSI coaches. All Middle School girls engage in traditional and non-traditional sports in BAWSIs PE clinics. Girls build confidence and practice skills required for each upcoming school-based team season and BAWSI after-school sports clinics. Girls playing on school-based teams participate in leadership sessions which support lessons learned from being a team member. All Middle School girls are invited to sign-up for college game day and career game day field trips. The goal of field trips is for girls to learn about college and career opportunities; meet women leaders on college campuses and in career; and start envisioning themselves as future leaders. High School continues to support girls in sports participation, leadership, and career exposure. The BAWSI Club provides a space for leadership, mentoring, and paying it forward at school and on BAWSI elementary school playgrounds. BAWSI Club members have the opportunity to attend College Game Day and Career Game Day field trips; connect with career mentors in fields of interest; organize support for girls sports teams, and volunteer on BAWSI playgrounds.
