The corporation is organized and shall be operated exclusively for charitable, educational, religious and scientific purposes within the meaning of, and pursuant to, section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code of 1986, as amended, (the "code") or the corresponding provision of any future united states internal revenue laws, by conducting the following activities: (i) helping to provide financial aid and emotional support to individuals in need; (ii) helping individuals and communities with social justice initiatives; (iii) connecting the movement of information across coalitions through organizer networks; and (iv) conducting any other activities and performing any other acts which may be necessary or appropriate for the furtherance, accomplishment or attainment of the above-mentioned purposes, all of which must be conducted to exclusively benefit, perform the functions of, or to carry out the purposes of the beacon unitarian universalist congregation in summit.
