We continue to maintain the trail system and have allowed several charity running and biking events to be held. The design of our Youth Sports Complex has been completed along with the environmental review process. A Mitigated Negative Declaration was approved by the School District in December and recorded with the County. The required permits from the County of San Bernardino and the State Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CalFire) were in the final phase of the approval process at the end of the fiscal year. Construction is expected to begin early in the next fiscal year.
Our youth sports complex project will construct three full size baseball/softball fields and seven soccer fields of varying sizes to meet the needs of our local youth sports leagues. The project has completed environmental review and the state permitting process and is under review by the County of San Bernardino for a grading permit. The construction is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2025. The speed at which construction will proceed will depend on donations, both monetary as well as labor and equipment.
