Agriculture leadership activities the bedford county farm bureau structure of organizational leadership provides many opportunities for member leaders to keep abreast of issues that affect agriculture. Local board members attend organizational & educational meetings each month. They participate in other local agricultural, civic, & community organizations. Leaders attend district, state & national conferences to network with farmers & other agriculturalists to learn about current issues facing agriculture. A highly developed committee structure provides leadership opportunities for members through meetings, regular communications, and agricultural activities.

Youth leadership development bedford county farm bureau is a primary sponsor of local 4-h and ffa organizations in the county. These organizations are the lifeline to future aguriculture leaders in the county. Bedford county farm bureau also provides scholorships to students going into the agriculture field.
