To fund innovative preventative brain aneurysm research seeking to further the mission and reduce the number of deaths caused by brain aneurysms. Through a competitive grant process the organization funds research directed at understanding the early detection, pathophysiology, genetic predispostion and/or treatment of brain aneurysms. Cutting edge research focused on prevention takes prioprity. Proposals are accepted from a variety of disciplines, including but not limited to translational neurosciences, neurosurgery, neurology, radiology, and genetics. The organization seeks to engage researchers early in their careers to attract top talent in the brain aneurysm research field and accelerate the pace of preventitive research.
