Mobile outreach-bhr provides 24/7 support for residents of the eastern region of missouri via face-to-face and remote contact. Services are provided in any unrestricted area such as client's homes, other agencies, hospitals, jails, etc. Clients receive a face-to-face crisis assessment conducted by a qualified mental health professional (master's level, license eligible counselor or social worker) and appropriate treatment recommendations, including referrals to community providers. Clients are offered follow-up support. Mobile outreach services are provided free of charge to clients. Mobile outreach clinicians are all master's level qualified mental health professionals (qmhp).

Justice and crisis response unit (jcru)bhr provides behavioral health services to persons who are interacting with the criminal justice system, or any first responder/public safety systems, at multiple points of entry to ensure persons in crisis or dealing with substance use or mental health challenges are appropriately triaged and diverted from the criminal justice system and emergency care system whenever possible. Community members receive in the moment support, behavioral health triage, including assessment of safety, primary needs, and appropriate connection to services, including direct referrals into the system of care. Community members receive active care coordination, and bhr tracks relevant program outcomes. All services are provided by multidisciplinary team of jcru clinicians, all trained in delivering evidence-based criminal justice liaison, triage, crisis, and suicide prevention services.

Missouri 988-new in 2023, missouri 988 is a n11 code that routes calls based on their location to a local, 988 approved crisis line. Missouri has seven 988 contact centers: 6 phone and 1 chat/text line. Bhr is missouri's largest 988 provider covering the eastern third of missouri and about 2.5 million lives.community relations and other-bhr conducts training sessions on-site and throughout the community, including educational institutions and other not-for-profit organizations. Trainings include informational presentations designed to inform the community about bhr and how to access services; trainings on general mental health topics customized to meet an organization's needs and additional clinical topics including trauma, suicide prevention and emotional regulation. Bhr also conducts standardized trainings including applied suicide intervention skills training (asist) which is a 2-day suicide prevention focused training, mental health first aid (mhfa) and youth mental health first aid (ymhfa) which are both 8-hour trainings on basic mental health awareness and intervention skills.
