Providing behavioral health / social support services to residents of clinton, franklin, essex, warren and washington counties in new york state.

Residential programsbhsn operates 186 residential beds for individuals with a mental illness. The level of care in these beds range from "supported housing" to congregate care settings. Additionally, bhsn operates 20 beds in a congregate care setting for those recovering from a substance abuse illness.

Adult servicesbhsn provides services to approximately 900 adults who experience a vast array of behavioral health issues and that support the wellbeing of the communities they serve, outside of a traditional clinic setting. These services include; employment, education, home and community based services, personalized recovery oriented services (pros), crisis services, aot, and adult care management.

Children's servicesbhsn provides services to approximately 800 children and their families who experience a vast array of behavioral health issues and that support the well being of the communities they serve, outside of a traditional clinic setting. These services include: adventure based counseling, social skills development, comprehensive psychiatric supports, family support services, peer support services, child care management, therapeutic foster care services, and home visiting services.

Social supportbhsn provides a stop domestic violence program in 3 counties, which includes 2 safe dwellings for victims of domestic violence. The dv program also provides advocacy, legal assistance, community education, and housing assistance for dv victims. Additionally, bhsn operates an in house eap which contracts with local businesses to provide support to their employees.
