Bellingham Seafeast

Funding of 6 "Boat to Table" events that provide free, healthy meals to food insecure areas in a celebratory environment (Lummi Nation Back to School, East Whatcom Regional Resource Center/ Maple Falls Food Bank, Birchwood Food Desert, Bellingham SeaFeast (2), and Lummi Nation Winter Event). These meals will focus on seafood and the Mediterranean diet to encourage healthy eating with an emphasis on preventing diseases such as diabetes.
