Our purpose is to advance the economic, industrial, professional, cultural, educational, social, and civic welfare of the belmond, ia area. To encourage the growth of the existing industries and businesses, while giving all proper assistance to any new firms or individuals seeking to locate in the belmond, ia area. To proactively recruit, attract and aid in securing new business and industry through a variety of means, to include locating, developing, and making available suitable commercial and industrial sites and locations. To support all those activities believed to be beneficial to the community. And in general, to promote the welfare of all area citizens, following those policies intended to accomplish the greatest good for the greatest number.
