The purposes of the corporation are to promote the welfare of students at the belmont middle school in belmont, massachusetts, by sponsoring and promoting community service, cultural enrichment, academic, athletic and social activities within the school; to foster cooperation between parents of students in the school and its faculty; and generally to engage in activities that are related to the foregoing purposes and that are permitted by the commonwealth of massachusetts to a corporation organized under chapter 180 of the massachusetts general laws that will not invalidate the corporation's exemption from federal income taxation under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code of 1986, as amended.
