The Long March for Unity & Justice was a strategic initiative designed to connect the Beloved Community Centers efforts to establish a statewide North Carolina Truth, Justice, and Reconciliation Commission (NC-TJRC) with its broader work in civic engagement. The initiative aimed to bring together social justice and civic organizations across the state to strengthen both individual and collective power among local residentsempowering them to participate more effectively in civic life and advocate for the issues that matter most to their communities.

NC-TJRC Summit concretizes BCCs role as a seasoned and trusted leader among leaders and other industry professionalsproviding skill building and capacity enhancement for the local and statewide network of social movement, community organizing, and justice seeking entities. BCCs Summits also focus on offering guidance and support to the sectors leadership, particularly as it relates to the importance and broad utility of community organizing and movement building as a necessity for transformative change.
