Beneficial Housing Foundation

To provide housing by construction, rehabilitating and providing decent, safe, sanitary housing in california for persons and families of low and moderate income who otherwise would not be able to find or afford a suitable place to live; to help relieve the poor, distressed, underprivileged and indigent by enabling them to secure the basic needs of decent shelter and thus lessen the burdens of government and promote social welfare; and to provide appropriate general services to tenants in the housing projects it owns, including without limitation, child care, recreational activities, counseling, training in the use of computers, job training and job referrals.
